James Houser Designated, Jose Veras Selected
Well, that was fast. The Marlins have designated LHP James Houser for assignment.
That's what will happen when in your only appearance for the team you hit a batter, walk a batter, and give up three hits--including a home run--to allow three runs in just 1.1 innings.
With the departure of Houser, the Fish have selected RHP Jose Veras from AAA New Orleans.
And the merry-go-round continues.

this merry-go-round
has got to be very hard on these guys. The excitement, the let down, the 2nd chance, the option down, the re-re-re call up. I can’t imagine it helps… i guess i got no other solution though. Tough position until the FO makes a move to solidify the bullpen. We’ll know soon enough if their ready to abondon the season already. the bobby V hire seems to say that they are not giving up, but they have to make more news. Bobby V isnt pitching innings 6-8…
