Nate Robertson will start for the Marlins on Wednesday on three days rest.
Manager Fredi Gonzalez said that Nate Robertson will start Wednesday against the San Diego Padres on three days' rest. The reason: Robertson wasn't extended in Saturday's start, one in which he was lifted after four innings and 85 pitches.
There was a reason Nate wasn't extended on Saturday, it was because he stunk. Nate has seemly fallen into a pattern of pitching decently every other game. And hopefully Wednesday it will be the other game for him.
