Marlins fans, now is the time to get excited.
We have a great, I repeat, GREAT young baseball team. Our lineup should be solid all the way through, our bullpen is loaded with guys who can be very effective, and we have seven starting pitchers with serious potential.
In 2010, the Florida Marlins can absolutely challenge for the whole enchilada. Let us compare the Marlins with last year's champ, the New York Yankees.

Call me crazy, but I don't see a huge gap here. The Marlins can hit and pitch with the Yanks.

You can’t see the gap? That was one of the greatest teams ever assembled. You compared Morrison to Granderson, someone with zero mlb experience to an all-star. You compared Cantu to A-rod, one of the best players of all time. And Maybin to Jeter? Hahaha.
Having said that (cue LD), I’m extremely excited and I think this team can make some major noise.
sure we can win, its baseball, anythings possible
but that yankees lineup and staff is far far superior to ours.
