Unsurprisingly, Ronny Paulino found a new club to play for next season, the Mets.
...they signed catcher Ronny Paulino to a one-year contract to address the bench.
Paulino's contract will be worth $1.3 million, and is pending a physical exam, which should take place soon. Paulino is being brought in to serve as the backup to Josh Thole, their promising young starter.
I like Paulino and wish him well, except, of course, when he is playing the Marlins.
