Land Shark Stadium Is No More

After a brief hiatus, It's back to good old Dolphin Stadium for the Marlins' temporary ballpark.

The Marlins won't be moving into their new ballpark until 2012. But this year, their current stadium will have yet another new name. No longer will the multi-sport park be called Land Shark Stadium.

Instead, it is reverting back to Dolphin Stadium, its name before the Miami Dolphins struck a sponsorship deal with Land Shark Lager.

Of course, for those of us who still (and always will) refer to it as Joe Robbie, this bit of news means precisely jack.

If it quacks...

Wel, I suppose it’s better than “Lame Duck Stadium.”
