Marlins Encore Today on Fox Sports Florida

If you're looking for a constructive way to kill time before life resumes on Opening Day, Fox Sports Florida has got you covered. Today at noon the network will air another Marlins Encore, a game that is one of my personal favorites from last season-- June 8th, Giants at Marlins.

Remember that one? Sean West earned his first Major League win as he flirted with a no-no and shut out the Giants through eight innings, and Brett Carroll had a milestone of his own, hitting the first home of his major league career against none other than Randy Johnson.

If you have a happier life than a lot of people and are not required to be at work or in class on Wednesdays, enjoy the game. Otherwise, that's why God invented Tivo.

Nooooooooooooooooooo

“But the Marlins have touched base with Kevin Gregg and they’re also keeping a close eye on several others, including Chan Ho Park, Seth McClung, Kiko Calero, Mike MacDougal, Derrick Turnbow and Jose Veras.”

Kiko again would be awesome

And Chan Ho Park is pretty good to. The rest seem so-so.

Ah, Gregg

one of my favorite punching bags in the entire sport.

Seeing that guy blow game after game in 2008, the last of them being entirely predictable, made it very easy to mock the guy.

Kiko is the best pitcher on that list.

Unreal

What on earth would make them want to go after Gregg again. I think they must consider him only for middle relief. Def not for closer duty anymore. I think Kiko would be great to have back. We can use all the help we can get in the bullpen.

I wouldn't even consider Gregg for that

and I don’t think Gregg wants to go back to the Marlins, seeing as how he left Florida as literally one of the worst pitchers in baseball.

I’m not a Marlins fan, but watching this and this back on 8/2 was great. (that game will also probably be one of the showcased games on FSN.)
