The Marlins are going for the series win tonight.

Ricky Nolasco strides to the mound for the Marlins.  Ricky has been off and on here recently with the only thing remaining consistent is he strikes a bunch out.  If Ricky is on, he is lights out.  If not, his buddies need to find the bats and get to work.

Pat Misch is on tap for the Mets.  Misch will be making his third start since joining the rotation.  Misch is a lefty who throws a ton of offspeed pitches. Oh boy.

When you are making your attendance figures for tonight keep it mind that everyone gets one free hot dog for coming to the game.  Don't really know if it will affect attendance all that much, but it is a perk for stadium goer.

Ichthyomancy is pretending to be ready.

Best of Luck to You!

Wes pinch running

that probably hasn’t happened often

Nolly going deep and with a relatively low pitch count!

Pinto

do we have to pay him more if he pitches less?

by LadyFish on Sep 9, 2009 9:11 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Not Pinto...arrghh

Putting in Pinto is like plugging a hole with dynamite

And then using Lindstrom and Nunez is like sprinkling copious amounts of nitroglycerin on top

We need a rally...

So we can get to his spot and pinch-hit for him.

Go Nats!

they’re tied up

by LadyFish on Sep 9, 2009 9:22 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Maybe...

But if we have a good run, we could steal it. We finish in Philly after all and with the wild card, we are relying on both the Rockies and Giants to blow it

Cogs got an intentional walk

That’s gotta be a nice feeling as a rookie, to be feared to drive in a run.

Ok, bottom of the ninth...

Just hope that Fredi has enough sense NOT to put in Nunez

by marlinsfan315 on Sep 9, 2009 9:46 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Never mind I'm slow

Nunez must have some incriminating photos or something

Yay, Leo actually didn't surrender a baserunner!

We win!!!

Who’d have thunk it? Leo went 1-2-3

Giants lost to Padres

So if the Reds can beat the Rockies, we’ll gain a game on both. Be even better if Washington can rally to beat the Phillies. Lidge hasn’t been so hot for the Phils lately… could happen…

by marlinsfan315 on Sep 9, 2009 10:01 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Phils beat Nats 6-5

Oh well, can’t have everything. Shame was the Nats had the tying run on second when Adam Dunn got him doubled off with a liner to second.
