Open Thread and Ichthyomancy: Marlins at Braves (9/29)
Miami Marlins at Atlanta Braves, Sep 29, 2009 7:10 PM EDT
The Marlins are still in the Wild Card hunt. They can tie by winning the rest of their games, Colorado losing all of theirs and the Nats taking at least two from the Braves. Piece of cake.
Josh Johnson gets the start tonight. Really don't know what to expect from JJ. He is weak for having the flu and not mention he was already on a pretty tight pitch count due to the number of innings thrown before he got sick. We will see. I hope the Hopper is ready, just in case.
Tim Hudson is the starter of choice for the Braves. Hudson has pitched well since his return to rotation. He is not the Hudson of old but he is still pretty good.
Ichthyomancy is running way behind.
Best of Luck to You!

Nice start Chris
There is 1/5 of my AAB
And it is so nice to be able to watch a game after being gone for several days
Well if it'll still count,

They want to keep Maybin at the position he has played all the way thru the minors...
Maybin would probably be very uncomfortable in right.
Carroll can play any position in the outfield. Also, it is a lot more fun watching BC gun down a runner at third than it is to see the runner hold at second if he was playing center.
the only thing i'll ever remember about that game was matt lindstrom's horrible blown save
it’ll never be a fond memory for me.
Good job, Brendan.
Now, let’s give Leo some room to maneuver.
There we go, Leo!
No win for JJ, but we’ll take it.
Yes!!!!
Thank you guys so much! :D You don’t know how relieved I was to see that little “FLA 5 – ATL 4 – F” pop up on my cell phone screen.
Now please do it again tomorrow?
I love Greg Reynolds. Deal with it, suckers.
