W-L G GS CG SHO SV BS IP H R ER HR BB K ERA WHIP
2009 - Anibal Sanchez 2-6 11 11 0 0 0 0 56.1 64 30 28 6 27 46 4.47 1.62

The Marlins are looking to even the series tonight.

Anibal Sanchez is on tap for the Marlins tonight.  Anibal pitched well in his last start against the Nats going 6 innings allowing 0 runs on 4 hits.  Unfortunately the Marlins couldn't captialize on it.

Marco Estrada will trot out to the mound for the Nationals.  This is will be his first start in the majors.  Best I can tell the right-hander throws a 90 mph fast ball, a curve and a change.  His best pitch is the curve ball, I think.

Ichthyomancy is sitting on go.

Best of Luck to You!

Just realized it's the weekend

Want to change my attendance pick to 26500. With my job, I sometimes forget what day it is cause I work odd hours…lol

i'd bump it up another 10k...

there’s some kind of thing going on with the UM faculty coming to watch the game, supposedly it’s going to packed.

Nunez saves??

Boy are you brave with that pick… best of luck with that… personally I’m hoping we don’t call for him at all

by marlinsfan315 on Sep 12, 2009 5:44 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

i hope we don't use him in save situations either

i’m just basing the pick on fredi’s tendencies to throw him in there whenever there’s a save oppertunity, as stupid as it may be.

by tdp992 on Sep 12, 2009 5:47 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Fair enough

I think Nunez must be Fredi’s secret kid and he blackmails Fredi for playing time…lol.

Nats got a brand new pitcher

That may work against the Fish. New faces often have that “rookie luck” because no one has seen them yet and don’t know what to expect. Kinda like Volstad

I hope it is, we tend to split double headers

We can’t afford a split here. Man, I can’t wait for that retractable roof

New LandShark promotion

First 10 fans in the park get to join the bullpen and the lucky fan that draws the short straw becomes the closer…lol

What makes me mad is

the reception for the radio gets really bad late at night when you’re in Palm Beach Co. I’ll be following on game day before long.

by LadyFish on Sep 12, 2009 8:55 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Yay it finally started

I’m following on ESPN.com

can’t stand the static and trying to guess what they’re saying any longer…sigh.

I think GameDay might be less behind

Two-run double and all 5 RBI’s tonight. Shoulda picked him… too late…

We have to have the most dangerous dugout in the league...

and I’m not talking about the players sitting in it.

by craig on Sep 12, 2009 10:00 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

I know what you are talking about...

Those protrusions that they hit their heads on

Nats starter - Marco Estrada

Tonight for major league debut: 5ER in 2 1/3 innings with 4 K’s, 3 H’s and 3 BB’s

by marlinsfan315 on Sep 12, 2009 10:03 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

this is starting to remind me

of that epic stretch when we went like two weeks without a starter completing 6 innings. i think it was in june.
