The Marlins are looking to even the series.
VandenHurk has been solid since he was recalled from New Orleans. The Incredible Hurk's biggest problems have come around the sixth inning when he tends to run out of steam.
Lannan is a lefty. While not be a traditional soft tosser he doesn't throw real hard either. His fast ball clocks out around 88 mph. He also throws a slider and a curve and will mix in a change on occasion.
Along with your usual picks, we will be picking the winner of the Presidents Race. Your choices are Lincoln, Washington, Jefferson and Roosevelt. Sadly, I will be unable to see the game so if the results of the race are shown would someone kindly report the outcome in the open thread. Thanks.
