Does Chris Coghlan or Hanley Ramirez set the August record?

Chris Coghlan and Hanley Ramirez are knocking on the door to rewrite the history book for the Marlins.

Chris Coghlan and Hanley Ramirez combined for five hits, giving them 89 this month. The last time two Marlins had 40 or more hits in a single month was in May 2006, when Miguel Cabrera (42) and Dan Uggla (42) did it. Ramirez (45) tied Luis Castillo's franchise record for most hits in a month (Aug. 1999).

As it stands right now, Hanley has a record tying 45 hits, Coghlan has 44 hits.  There are three games remaining and both players are hot.

So here is the question: Who will hold the record when August ends?
