The Marlins are mercifully back home to try and get the ball rolling in the right direction again. The Mets are in town for a three-game set.

Sean West is the starter for the Marlins. West hinges on whether he has an effective off speed pitch or not. In his last outing he didn't, but being a rookie and prone to a little inconsistency that doesn't mean it won't tonight.

Nelson Figueroa is a making a spot start in place of Johan Santana. I can live with that. Mainly working of the bullpen this is will be Figueroa's third start of the season.

Ichthyomancy is running big time behind.
