More on Anibal Sanchez

Dan, while trying his best to live blog the game last night but to no avail, did end up giving the final pitching line.

7 innings, 4 hits, 2 walks, 1 run, 3 Ks.

The Knoxville News chimes in with this. (via Clark Spencer)

The 25-year-old Venezuelan, who was placed on the disabled list for the second time this season by the Marlins on June 4 because of a strained right shoulder, threw 86 pitches, including 57 for strikes. His fastball topped out at 95 mph and he mixed in 75 mph breaking balls.

It's been suggested he needs a third rehab start, but Sanchez disagrees.

"I'm ready," he said. "I would like to go to the team. I'm healthy and ready to stay there. It's the last month and a half of the season and I want to help my team make the playoffs."

As things stand right now, Anibal will pitch again on Monday for the Suns.
