Chum Bucket

I know it is too late for a useful Chum Bucket and the Hammer has already hit his two grand slams in consecutive innings, which kinda blunts that discussion.  However, there are some things you need to know.  The first being FishStripes, as far as the front page is concerned, is about to be a little unusual.  Not that it was ever normal.

The reason for whatever haphazard form the site will take is that I am coming to South Florida for a visit.  Yes, for those of you who don't know, I don't live in Florida.... at least not physically.  Wednesday will be a travel day (for me), Thursday, Friday and Saturday I will be at the game.  And while I have been rained on before, I am sure hoping it won't be the case for those games.  So let's get that rain thing cleared up before I get there.

I will let you know what section I am sitting in should you like to come by and say hi.  And I would enjoy it if you did since it is about time for us to meet in person.  Now, if your goal in meeting me is to tell me I suck and throw a beer at me, uh, just tell me in an email and I promise I will spill some beer on myself during the game.

The hotel I'm staying at assures me that I will have wifi access to the web.  However, the last time I was promised that I was in Houston for opening day to watch the Marlins and ended up sending smoke signals back to a fellow  FishStriper in order to get anything posted.  We will see how it goes.

Anyway, FishStripes (the front page) will be live from South Florida in just a couple of days.
