Fish Wrap - Marlins 4 Nationals 2
Two car pool buddies faced off on Monday in what would prove to a pitcher's duel for seven innings. Ricky Nolasco and Scott Olsen, each after early innings hiccups, started dealing and fortunately for the Fish, Ricky was able to go one inning longer than Ollie. After 7 innings the score stood 2 to 2, but the Nationals would have go into their bullpen for the eighth and luckily Acta chose former Marlin Ron Villone. And he did not disappoint, pitching just like he did when he was with the Fish.
Helms leadoff with a double, De Aza came into to pinch run, Coghlan bunted him to third and then in surprising turn of events Bonifacio hit a sacrifice fly to bring home the run. And that all the Marlins would need to secure the win.
In streak news: Hanley tied the club record for consecutive games with at least one RBI at eight and Ricky tied his career high for consecutive wins at three.
It was a good night.

i know it’s kind of dull to double-up on hanley, but no one else seems to be doing anything consistent at the plate recently.
