Fish Wrap - Marlins 2 Rays 5
The Marlins got swept and are now below .500 again, in other words, the whole series sucked.
Miller really didn't pitch that badly, though the line score looks kind of pathetic, it really wasn't. He only walked one batter who of course later scored. He left a hanger out over the plate that was taken yard. And in the seventh he did struggle a little, but if the bullpen could for once not let all of the inherited runners score, it would've been what is known as a "quality" start.
The offense remained in a coma. Early on Price was throwing the ball all over the place, but the Marlins bats helped him out by swinging out of the zone. The Marlins did mount a rally in the ninth getting the tying run on and bringing the go ahead run to the plate. But that meant men were in scoring position so true to form, there was no hit coming.
All in all, it was a pretty crappy weekend.

and that's why you need a healthy bullpen:
so they can bail out your starter and prevent that 2 ER from becoming 5.

Jose Ceda
somebody asked about him a while back.. here’s why we haven’t heard about him:
Jose Ceda, is likely done for the year after shoulder surgery about a month ago. Ceda, acquired from the Cubs in the deal that sent 2008 closer Kevin Gregg to Chicago this offseason, had been feeling shoulder discomfort since Spring Training and didn’t pitch an inning in the Minors this year.
Sounds like the health problems we heard about after the trade were true…

Gregg hasn't been all THHAAAT bad this year

If so, when can we expect the YouTube video of you throwing punches in the stands?
