Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

Ricky Nolasco's New Orleans debut

Ricky Nolasco pitched pretty well in his debut as a Zephyr.  Ricky went 8 innings threw 103 pitches with 72 for strikes.  He gave up 6 hits, walked 2 and struck out 7 while being charged with 3 earned runs.

Nolasco got tagged with the loss, not that it matters, since his very temporary teammates had a little trouble with the concept of the bats are brought along on the road trip for a reason.

Since the Marlins can't bring him back until 10 days after he was optioned, he will be making at least one more start for the Zephyrs.

But so far, so good.
