Jorge Cantu was hit with what looked and sounded like a scary pitch on his hand, but should be fine.
Some encouraging news on Jorge Cantu. An X-ray on his left hand came back negative. Cantu absorbed being struck on the back of his hand by a Daniel Cabrera fastball in the fifth inning. The off day should help, but he might sore a for while. He is considered day-to-day.
