Hanley Ramirez likely back tonight

Hanley Ramirez may return to the starting lineup tonight.

Marlins manager Fredi Gonzalez puts the odds at 80 percent that the All-Star shortstop will return on Thursday night, when they open a four-game series with the Cubs at Wrigley Field.

"I'd say it's 80-20 for tomorrow," Gonzalez said of Ramirez being back for the first game in Chicago.

There is no need to rush him back and keep re-aggravating his wrist, however, if he is good to go he will be a welcomed sight in the lineup.

Frisaro says no
Hanley Ramirez walked slowly to the batting cages behind the outfield wall at Wrigley Field. The All-Star shortstop took a few easy swings. The verdict?

“Not good,” Ramirez said.
