You know how Dan every now and then will post a Pitch F/X graph in the open thread and if you look at it and think....what the heck does that mean?

Well, our buddy Sky at Beyond the Box Score has put together a primer.

um, I could use some help with the numbers and the squiggly lines. And the straight lines too, probably. And the bunches of dots. Oh, and I’ll definitely need help with any x’s or y’s. I’m totally good with the word “pitch,” though, so we’re ok there.
