Banana Peppers on Hot Dogs?

It seems, according the hot dog association, that Marlins fans like banana peppers on their hot dogs.

...hot dogs are still top dog in our nation's ballparks, according to the National Hot Dog & Sausage Council's (NHDSC) annual survey.

With Opening Day this weekend, the NHDSC forecasts that ballparks around the country will serve 21,733,839 hot dogs this season -- an impressive feat and enough to round the bases 30,186 times and stretch to and from Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia and Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, FL, the two sites of the 2008 World Series.

I guess banana peppers are a good substitute for pickle relish, assuming you like to add a sweet taste to the dog. (Personally I don't.) That aside: are banana peppers one of the main condiments to the hot dog experience at JRS?

Just wondering.

I can't recall ever seeing them

at the condiment stand, or on anybody’s hot dogs, for that matter. Then again, I’m usually just grabbing a spoon for my frozen lemonade, or stealing napkins to wipe the rain off my seat after a delay. So maybe I just never noticed them.

I’ve never noticed either, but if they were there I’d certainly grab some. I love me some banana peppers. I’m just able to hold off on eating until after the game.

Marlins 10th inning show and taco bell are a good combination.
