Still not buying

Somebody proposed to me Bonifacio and Dunn for Hamels, trying to talk up how amazing bonifacio looks… little did he know i’ve seen him in person 3 times.

Er… have you seen Dunn? I probably overvalue Dunn because my league counts walks. And Hamels… eh. He’s another pretty good pitcher. But under certain circumstances, I’d probably deal Hamels for Dunn straight up.

pwned

So does that graphic mean that 83% of yous guys are pwned?

I’m too lazy to check, but I doubt that Boney qualifies as a rookie any more. Besides, I’m reserving judgement to see how his batting and fielding play out. I know he has speed, so let’s see if he continues to get aboard in order to use said speed. I suffered vicariously last season through a number of Bonifacio boners both in the field and at the plate with the Nats. Wadn’t priddy.

I’m hopeful because he sure makes the games much more exciting*, doesn’t he?

He doesn't.

169 at-bats last year… some in ’07.

As for Bonifacio, even in a worst-case scenario, he’s a source of cheap steals. Like Michael Bourn with 2B/3B eligibility and job security. (Though I think he’s better than Bourn.) I’d not sure I’d trade THAT much for him, but you know how maddening finding steals can be.
