I don’t know what it is about the Blue Jays and their former Assistant GMs (slash Assistants to the GM) becoming internet writers, but the latest is Bart Given, whose stuff is actually quite interesting. Anyway, he’s got a piece today on the way Mark Shapiro changed the Indians’ approach to minor league nutrition and meals, and as a team that is so strongly rooted in minor league development, I think it should be of interest to you kids. And hopefully somebody in the Marlins FO is reading it too.
