Alfredo Amezaga looking good

Alfredo Amezaga's rehab seems to be going along nicely.

Alfredo Amezaga, on the disabled list with a sprained left knee, made a rehab assignment appearance on Thursday night at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter. The way he was moving around, at the plate and in center field, is very encouraging.

---

Leading off the game, Amezaga slapped a single to right field after running the count to 3-1. His leg gave him no troubles while running the bases.

---

In center field, he covered a lot of ground and looked smooth running down some routine fly balls.

Because he is on the DL retroactive to March 27, the earliest Amezaga can return to the Marlins is on Saturday.

The plan is to test his knee at multiple positions -- center field, shortstop and second base.

I hate it when the software changes the fronts for no reason and I don't have time to fix it.  But be that as it may.

If they are going to test Alfredo's knee at multiple positions, there is no way he will be back with the big club by Saturday.  Which is good news for Hammerheads players since they will be eating well.

If you are an Andy Gonzalez fan hope that he gets into a game real soon because I think his days of wearing the teal are numbered.

Alfredo...even better than the sauce

Alfredo is gonna tear it up with Bonifacio… Those two together in the lineup with Hanley and Cameron are bound to keep tons of catchers and pitchers up all night this season.

Album coming soon
