Frankie De La Cruz traded

As Dan stated in yesterday's comments, De La Cruz is no longer with the Marlins.

Out of options, Eulogio "Frankie" De La Cruz is out of the Marlins plans.

The team announced on Wednesday that De La Cruz has been traded to the Padres for cash or a player to be named.

Depending on who you read, the Marlins either traded De La Cruz for cash or a player to be named later.  Or they traded him for cash and a player to be named later.

Given the above quote box is from Frisaro, it is probably best to give him the benefit of the doubt.

De La Cruz most definitely has a live arm, but I guess, obviously, he didn't fit into the Marlins plans for the upcoming season.

Given that Frankie has been moved, that leaves another spot open on the 40-man roster.
