If it isn't over already.

The Marlins are/were playing the Twins in Jupiter.

The Marlins starting pitcher was Chris Volstad.

The Twins went with Kevin Slowey.

The game started at 1:05 p.m.

I really need to work back into my normal schedule. But fortunately I still have a couple of weeks to amend my slovenly ways.

The WBC is over: Japan won again.

The best thing I heard on the broadcast was when someone said: If the guy you are pitching to is known by only one name, walk him, and pitch to the next guy who you call by his last name. Korea didn't, they paid the price.

In college basketball: the Women keep fighting on and the Men's NIT is on schedule.

I am so late.

I wonder if he signed them right after getting back from the WBC.

Speaking of bad photos on that ‘89 Bowman, how wretched is RVH’s Topps photo? It looks like one of those just-above-homemade minor-league cards.

And seeing the Raffy card made me kinda sad. Amazing how these guys can blow their whole careers like that. Was the 10 or even 20 extra HRs a year really worth it?
