Anibal Sanchez wins grievance hearing

Anibal Sanchez won the the grievance hearing.  I meant to post this yesterday, but it didn't workout that way.

Anibal Sanchez won his grievance against the Marlins, which means he's owed an additional $215,000. And it moves up his eligibility for arbitration (after 2009). The arbitrator agreed with Sanchez that he should have been on the major-league (not minor-league) disabled list during his shoulder problems.

Good.

I knew his shoulder was hurt from his arm slot change and the team should've known it, and probably did.   Sending down to the minors and then placing him on the DL probably wasn't as much as trying to save money but more of a trying to extend the time until he was arbitration eligible.

The arbitrator made the right call.
