Florida Marlins 40-man roster set?
If this article is correct, the Marlins are going with what they have already.
Several big-name players remain unsigned -- including Ivan Rodriguez, Manny Ramirez andBobby Abreu -- but the Marlins said Saturday they are not in a position to offer any free agent more than the $400,000 minimum.
There ain't no stinking way the Marlins will sign a big-name player for the league minimum.
If the front office sticks to this then Rabelo or possibly Hayes will be the backup catcher. I have never seen Hayes play, but I will definitely be following his progress in spring training.

I'd rather play at AAA
I worked for the Carolina Mudcats when Hayes was there. He’s a good kid and has a great work ethic. Wish him the best.
It’ll be interesting to see who earns the backup spot because whoever doesn’t will get more experience starting at AAA. Our backup catcher should have been to Treanor.
