Game Today
The Marlins fresh off their first victory of the spring will play the Orioles once again, but this time in Jupiter.
The Marlins starting pitcher is Ricky Nolasco. This will be Ricky's first start of the spring. Like the ones who proceeded him, he will go about two innings.
The Orioles will trot out Jeremy Guthrie to the mound. In case you don't much about the Orioles, and why should you, Guthrie is their ace, for now. He is a fast ball/slider pitcher with a pretty decent change up.
Game time is 1:05 p.m.
Have a Great Day!

Spring Errors in Context
Non-pitchers only. Only going back to 07, because even then spring box scores are hit-and-miss in terms of availability.
2007: 37 errors in 34 games (1.09 per game)
2008: 27 errors in 33 games (0.82 per game)
2009: 11 errors in 4 games (2.75 per game)
Maybe this year we’re just getting them out of the way before they count?
Perry Hill
I just saw that Perry Hill is now coaching for the Pirates
http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/pittsburghtrib/sports/pirates/s_613267.html
Apparently the Yankees wanted him but the Marlins were able to veto that.
My question is why did the Marlins not move heaven and earth to induce Perry Hill to return to the Marlins?
I was at the game
it shoudl have been 5 errors. Jeremy Hermida misplaced 2 balls absolutely terribly that lead to at least 3 runs. Hanley’s error her was charging a sharp grounder and it bounced over his glove. Bonifacio had 2 great plays at third and then botched a fly ball in foul territory. I forget Amezagas.
Ricky looked good, he got hurt by Hermidas terrible fielding ability. The only time the place was really loud was when hermida actually caught ab ball (even orioles fans cheered). Johnson looked solid though there were some hard hits off of him. Colero was meh..
