Tales from the Marlins spring training

Cody Ross went to his season home in Plantation, Fla., to be with his wife Summer, who gave birth to a baby girl early Thursday afternoon. Haven Leigh Ross was born at 1:03 p.m. ET. Ross is expected to rejoin the team on Saturday.

Brett Carroll and Scott Cousins are regarded as having the strongest arms in the outfield.

We now have the name of the newest Marlins fan.  Welcome aboard Haven!  There is a quote by Shakepeare I thought about adding, but I will leave it alone for now.

As for the other, it was always known that Brett Carroll had a cannon for arm, but I didn't know that Cousins did too.  Cool.
