Chum Bucket

It's time for another Chum Bucket and I will admit this one is about as ill prepared as the other most recent ones.  One of these days I will knock the rust off and get back to form, but this isn't that day.

In the meantime you know what to do, discuss anything that is on your mind and maybe, just maybe, someone will join in.

With that said, Have a Great Day!

Dallas McPherson

For starters, I was a big fan of his signing and was really hopeful for him as a Marlins.

However, after reading the article on marlins.com about the competition for the infield, and seeing him at the Friday caravan stop at a little league whiffle ball game, the man seems to have a terrible attitude towards the team and the fans. It’s one thing to say you’d play anywhere so long as you got a shot to play, but when a team signs don’t sound so disinterested about being on the team as he does. Plus, at the caravan, he hid in a corner avoiding the kids, and honestly looked stoned…

well,

it could be that he was once savagely beaten by a gang of children with whiffle-ball bats, and the emotional scars have never healed. That caravan stop could’ve been very traumatic for him.

that he was once savagely beaten by a gang of whiffle-ball bats with children…

Same ole stuff

Did we get Pudge yet or not?

seriously...

who would you rather have as your backupp/platoon cather option….Mike Rabelo or IVAN RODRIGUEZ. is this a no brainer. Pudge seems determined to shut the doubters up and to be honest, that the tyoe of guy i want playing for my tem, the savy, hall of fame bound veteran witha chip on his shoulder. just make the deal already fish…..open up the f-ing pocket books and get the veteran behind the plate to handle the young pitching staff, mentor Baker, and slowly move into an everyday/starting role should Baker hit a sophomore slump. I for one would much rather have a proven Pudge Rodriguez on his decline than a shitty Mike Rabelo and Paul Hoover.
