Scott Olsen non-tendered

Scott Olsen is available.

... Scott Olsen became free agents when the Washington Nationals decided not to offer them 2010 contracts on Saturday.

---

Olsen was 2-4 with a 6.03 in 11 starts this year, his first after Washington acquired him from Florida. He did not pitch after July 10 and had surgery to repair a small tear in his left shoulder.

I doubt the Marlins will pursue Scottie O.  There are two main problems, one being shoulder injuries are sometimes tough to recover from and two, he made 2.8 million last season.

However, should they, I wouldn't mind at all, he has a way about him to make the team a bit more interesting.

Already resigned with the Nats

A base 1 million w/ a bunch of incentives based on games started…a nice “prove you have something left” deal
