Around SBN: Kobe Bryant Isn't Up To Speed On Jeremy Lin, 'Linning'

Hermida traded to the Red Sox!

Just thought I'd stop by and celebrate that we no longer have to deal with Jeremy Hermida anymore.  He was traded to Boston for a couple minor league pitchers, one of which (Jose Alvarez) seems to be pretty good.    For the full article on ESPN, click here

The funniest part of all this is the quote by Red Sox GM Theo Epstein:

"We still think there's a good hitter in there," Epstein said.

I'm glad to see him go

But I think if we waited we could have gotten a better deal… much like with Olsen/Willingham. The FO just seems to jump at the first offer sometimes…
