Scott Proctor gets a new gig

Talking Chop reports the Braves have signed Scott Proctor.  You remember Scott Proctor, or maybe you don't, the Marlins signed him and he never pitched a game for the Fish.  Proctor ended up playing for Dr. Andrews team for all of the 2009 season when he underwent Tommy John surgery.

Naturally we wish him the best, except when he plays against the Marlins, and hopefully the Atlanta job will workout for him.  But to be honest, given the abuse his arm suffered under Torre and now coming off surgery, I wouldn't put him on my fantasy team, much less my real team.  There is one caveat to that, if you are playing fantasy baseball in one of those strange rules leagues where you are trying to finish last, he maybe your man.
