Want a job in baseball?

If you are looking for a job in baseball, there is only one place to be in December, Indianapolis.

This year, the meetings will be in Indianapolis at the Indiana Convention Center from Monday, Dec. 7th to Thurs. the 10th. Here’s a breakdown of the event.

The Biz of Baseball does a very good job of breaking down the event.  So click on the link if you are interested.  Also this site gives some pretty good info. Baseball Jobs.  There maybe a better one, but for the life of me, I can't locate it now.

If you are thinking about doing this, go for the minors.  It is the most fun, and while you won't make much money, you will be very happy to go to the park everyday.

Don't forget to visit the smoking section where Jack McKeon holds court, puffing on a cigar.  The stories he tells have to be riveting.
