John Heyman finalizes his ballot

John Heyman released his final ballot yesterday.  Whether he gets an actual ballot or not, I cannot say.

But anyway a few Marlins made an appearance on said ballot.

First is in the NL MVP vote:

5.Hanley Ramirez, Marlins: Big-time talent earned wrath of teammate Dan Uggla for not playing through pain.

Kinda strange to bring up a one time public incident.  Maybe he is justifying to himself why Hanley wasn't placed higher up.  Who knows.

Next was the vote for the NL ROY.

2. Chris Coghlan, Marlins: More hits than anyone in the second half.

And by my calculations he is one spot too low.

Finally in NL Manager of the Year.

3.Fredi Gonzalez, Marlins: Very solid job with very young team, no matter what owner Jeffrey Loria may think.

Fredi should get some recognition for the award but is a very long shot to win the thing.

That is his votes, and like I said, I have no idea whether they will actually count or not.  But even if they don't, it is nice to see some of the members of the Marlins organization getting some play in the national media.  It can't hurt.
