Bryan Price one of the possibles
The Marlins are interviewing Bryan Price as next pitching coach.
The Marlins have contacted Bryan Price about the pitching coach job. Price, who has served in that capacity with the Mariners and Diamondbacks, on Friday confirmed his interest and added the Marlins are one of several teams that have called.
To add a little more data.
Price, a former Major League Baseball coach of the year award winner, resigned as pitching coach of the Arizona Diamondbacks earlier this season after manager Bob Melvin was fired. Price was quickly hired by the Philadelphia Phillies as a minor league consultant.
I will have more to say to about Price if this comes to fruition. But for now, we could do worse.

What about Dave Duncan from St. Louis?
That’s the best pitching coach in all of baseball and he might be on his way out of St. Louis because he doesn’t get along with front office. He would be great for our young pitching staff! He can fix Andrew Miller into a Cy Young winner. He’s that good a coach. Look what he’s done with every pitcher on the Cards.
What do you guys think? Would Loria spend the cash it might take to nab him?
