Chum Bucket

Mastering the quick Chum Bucket seems to be a necessity here lately.  So here is another one.

In men's college basketball I know that South Florida is hosting a game and on the women's side, FIU and FAU are in action.

In the pros, the Heat will be on ESPN with Dick Vitale doing the color for the game.  It seems that ESPN is having their pro announcers call the college game and their college announcers call the pro game tonight.  Whatever floats their boat.

But naturally, you can talk about anything you want to.  It is a Chum Bucket after all.

Whatever you decide, Have a Great Day!

A moment of silence please

For my Boston College Eagles football team. Not only did they put me through 2 insufferable losses in December; Not only are they putting together a terrible recruiting class; Not only did they cover up the BC basketball win over UNC by this coaching debauchery; but we’re still in the news and probably firing the coach today and replacing him with nobody special.

Oh wait… this is my marlins blog… crap

Yeah, leave it to the BC athletic dept...

to screw a perfectly good situation up.

Question is, if they fire Jags….who will coach the team? I think being in a BCS conference is the only thing that gets them a credible coach. Because if I were a coach and I had options, I’d tend to shy away from that situation. Also, they’re not going to pay anyone much if they’re stuck paying Jags’ contract too.

BC didn't screw up the situation - Jagodzinski did.

A contract is a contract and just because no other school has had the cajones to stand up to a coach that actively shopped for another job doesn’t mean it should be alright. It would be one thing if the Jets or Seahawks contacted BC for permission to interview Jags, or if Jags was honest to the AD and media on saturday, but he wasn’t.

Whether there was a formal agreement to stay at least 3 years or not, Jags was disloyal, dishonorable, and didn’t act in accordance with his contract. Jags called the Jets. Jets called Mora. They didn’t call him. That’s unforgivable.

BC and our AD loved Jags and were more than happy with the situation. Jags became the girlfriend that you trust too much, trust so much you let her go clubbin’ with her girlfriends or hang out with her ex, and then let it come back to bite you in the butt.

Who lets their gf hang out with their ex???

If she wanted to, I’d let her…but I’d dump her first.

Just sayin…
