Chum Bucket
It's time for another Chum Bucket -- for some reason.
In sports today, the Heat are on the road, the Panthers are enjoying a day off, also there is some action in college basketball. On the men's side, UM and UF are playing, but not each other. For the women, USF at home against a ranked opponent also FIU and FAU are matching up in a game tonight.
So if any of those, or anything else for that matter, floats your boat feel to chime in on the thread. You never can tell someone else might be interested in the same thing you are.
In the meantime. Have a Great Day!

Future Lineup
I was reading the posts about the corner OF and IF and it got me thinking about what our defensive positioning might be at the end of this year or next year, if the prospects live up to the hype and stay healthy.
We probably will get rid of McPherson, Cantu, Cody and Hermida this year if they do…
LF – Morrison
CF – Maybin
RF – Stanton
3B – Dominguez
SS – Hanley
2B – Uggla/Coghlan
1B – Gaby
C – Baker/Skipworth

You forgot Bonifacio. He'll be at 2B...
until he proves himself so woefully ill-equipped to be an everyday player that management has no choice but to admit their horrible mistake.

I looked around for a email address for craig, but couldn’t find one.
I’m a sportswriter from the San Francisco Bay Area and tonight a friend of a friend pitched me a story on a local high school pitcher who is being courted by the Marlins organization, it seems. The FOAF unforunately wasn’t too clear on the Florida involvement with the kid, but he kept mentioning a scout or a coach. I don’t know much about it at the moment, either.
Before I proceed with bothering the family and writing up a thing on this kid, I need a place to pitch the story. This guy could be a future addition to the Marlins org, if what I understand about him is true. Getting a pre-draft scoop on him might be a nice thing for the blog here. I can’t think of a better place to pitch the story than Fish Stripes.
Would this be something you would want to read and have on your blog? Others from the blog are more than welcome to weigh in, too.
My email address is listed in my SBN profile. Thanks for reading this strange request. I hope something good will come of it.
