As promised the Florida Marlins released their list of non-roster invitees.

Non-roster invitees

Pitchers: Jose Ceda, William Collazo (L), John Koronka (L), Henry Owens, Brian Sanches, Brett Sinkbeil, Aaron Thompson (L), Sean West (L), Mike Wood.

Catchers: Brad Davis, Felix Fermin, Kyle Skipworth.

Infielders: Chris Coghlan, Matt Dominguez, Andy Gonzalez, John Lindsey, Manny Mayorson, Logan Morrison.

Outfielders: Scott Cousins, Alejandro De Aza, Jay Gibbons, John Raynor, Michael Ryan,Mike Stanton.

That brings the total number of players in the major league camp to 64.

Lots of good young prospects who are on the rise and many others who have talent but are recovering from injury amongst other things.  Speaking of the latter, it will be interesting to see if Henry Owens is making progress recovering from shoulder surgery.  That is a hard thing to bounce back from and then there is the 50 game suspension problem.  Nonetheless it will be interesting to see whether he has regained his velocity on his fast ball.  I suspect he hasn't, 

The bottom line is this: if you get the chance to make it out to Jupiter this coming spring, you are going to see a ton of good young players.
