Chum Bucket
While we are waiting for the playoffs to begin, it is time for another Chum Bucket.
What we learned from yesterday's Chum Bucket is if South Florida has a good pizzeria none of us know where it is located. Which could explain why Dominos started here and I'm not sure that is something to be proud of. But enough about pizza.
Let's talk barbecue, as Hurricane alluded to, anyone know a good place?
Of course the topics in Chum Bucket don't have to center around food, but it is fine if they do. They can be about anything your heart desires.
The Twins and the White Sox have a playoff game tonight to see who will advance to the post season. Should be good. The game is on TBS at 7:35 p.m.
Have a Great Day!

My life is incomplete without icthy...
There is a bbq place on route one just south of dadeland mall that always seems to be packed. I forget the name of it though but its on the southbound side and the sign says BBQ.

Sonnys BBQ
there are a few – the one I usually frequent is on University about a mile south of 595.

Sonny's and Shorty's
Sonny’s will do if you really get a craving, I’m not too big of a fan of Shorty’s (the one on US-1 mentioned above), but you’re right it always seems packed. I’ve heard there’s some place on the Beach called “Beach BBQ” or something like that that is supposed to be decent and not at all a “Miami Beach place.”
Build a stadium downtown and I'll buy season tickets

bbq
I grew up on Sonny’s, the one on Univiersity is usually pretty good, but end up at the Florida City location usually. Never been a fan Shorty’s.
There’s a decent place on 8th st with a Carolina style – vinegar sauce.
Either way there’s a shortage of good bbq in Miami.

BBQ in Palm Beach Co. and Met misery
The best is Park Avenue BBQ. I have the phone # programmed into my phone!
I heard some S. Florida (Met fans) radio hosts misery that I really enjoyed.

Pocket schedules?
Hi. Does anybody on this site have a Marlins pocket schedule (that you might be willing to mail to me)? If so, send me an e-mail at gbarasch.student@manhattan.edu
Thanks!

I'm presuming you would like one for the 2009 season...
and as far as I know they haven’t been distributed yet. Or at least I haven’t seen one.
However, if you are wanting a 2008 schedule, I probably could find one around here, somewhere

Actually
Actually, I’m talking about the 2008 edition. Do you think you could find me one? If you do, send me an email at gbarasch.student@manhattan.edu and I’ll respond with my mailing address. Thanks!
