The Florida Marlins uniforms and baseball history

It turns out the Florida Marlins helped change the on field wearing apparel in major league baseball history.

1993: The Reds and Marlins reintroduce the sleeveless jersey, last seen in the big leagues in 1971.

So now, when you think of the Marlins, think fashion trend setters.
