The Marlins are still on a home run record pace

Here recently much has been written about the Marlins home runs drought, and with some good reason, but the Marlins are still on pace to better last year's team record.

Though their home run rate has seen a marked downturn, the Marlins remain on pace to top last year's single-season franchise record (201). They have hit 176 through 138 games, putting them on track for 206.

The home run rate is starting to pickup again considering the Marlins have have hit 11 home runs in their last 13 games.

Granted the Marlins need to do more than just hit home runs, but is nice to see that the power is starting to return.

Now, if we can just figure out that hitting with RISP thing, we could be on to something.
