September call ups -- some of them

Some of the September call ups are here, as you know, and some are on the way. 

Left-hander Andrew Miller, activated from the disabled list before the game, struck out the side in the seventh inning in his first action since July 13. He had been suffering from tendinitis in his right knee.

Outfielder Brett Carroll (shoulder) also was activated after being out since May 24.

The team plans today to add three minor-leaguers to the roster: infielders Dallas McPherson and Robert Andino and right-hander Eulogio de la Cruz.
