Florida Marlins more callups

The Florida Marlins have more players on the way.

The Marlins announced center fielder Cameron Maybin, first baseman Gaby Sanchez, and pitchers Jesus Delgado and Ryan Tucker will join the team Tuesday. Each was with Class AA Carolina.

Cool.

The interesting thing is Gaby Sanchez isn't on the 40-man roster.  I wonder who will either be put on the 60-day DL or be removed.

I'm not sure how much playing time they will get.  Maybin and Tucker probably will see the most.  But basically, the position players will be pinch hitters and the pitchers will be used out of the pen.  Should the Marlins end up being mathematically eliminated, then all of them could see more time in the field.  It just depends on how the front office wants to handle things.  

But even if, I want to reiterate, if, the Marlins are eliminated from the playoff race, the team will still be in a position to have an effect on who makes the playoffs.  So I would expect the regulars will see the majority of the playing time down the stretch.
