Happy Labor Day to all of the U.S. FishStripers!  For all the the non-U.S. FishStripers, Welcome to Monday!

The Atlanta Braves have made their way to town.

In order for the Marlins to even the season series with Atlanta, they need to sweep all three games.  Which is definitely something I wholeheartedly support.

Today we have the same match up of pitchers we did on August 27.  Which incidentally was the last time the two hurlers took the hill.

Johnson in his previous start against the Braves pitched a 4 hit, 1 run, complete game while striking out 8.  It will be interesting to see how he responds after going nine innings.  His last start aside, he is allowing a lot of hits and walking more than his fair share, but he somehow gets out it.

Hampton's last start against the Fish was one of his best.  Going 8 innings, allowing 8 hits, 2 walks and 3 runs.  So far this season Hampton has done his best work in Turner Field where he has posted an ERA of 4.26.  On the road he has put up an ERA of 7.29.

Ichthyomancy still hates day games, even if they are on a holiday.  Best of Luck to You!

Fantasy Football

i just wanted to get some other opinions on a possible trade i might pull the trigger on in my league

I was offered Brian Westrbook for Andre Johnson and Darren McFadden. Keep in mind I have LT too.

I like a backfield of LT and Westbrook the whole year but i think i might be giving up to much value – just would like to see what anybody else might think of this trade
