Gaby Sanchez did all the good in the Southern League this season.

The Southern League has named Carolina infielder Gaby Sanchez as the Most Valuable Player for the 2008 season.

Sanchez becomes the first Mudcat to win that award in 13 years, and becomes just the third Carolina player to net the honor. Sanchez joins big leaguer Jason Kendall (1995) and Mark Johnson (1994) as the other Mudcats to lay claim to the MVP.
