The Marlins are looking to even the series.  Yeah, I know, it shouldn't be that way.

Johnson has pitched four quality start in-a-row.  And he actually has a better ERA on the road than at home.  Johnson is still giving up too many hits though he held the walks in check last time out.  But even with Josh giving up a few too many hits, he seems to work around it.

Hampton, you remember him, the Marlins paid him a ton of money to play for other teams.  He will be making his seventh start of the season and has done reasonably well since returning from injury.  He probably won't go real deep in the game since he mainly pitches to contact.  Hampton is a lefty.

Lo Duca is expected to start at catcher.

Ichthyomancy is ready to try it again.  Best of Luck to You!

Cameron Maybin injured by a spider bite, WTF? Are you kidding me? What’s next? Anibal Sanchez back on DL, pulled hamstring while putting on pants? Lady Luck seems to be turning against the ol’ Fish these days….

Build a stadium downtown and I'll buy season tickets

as I recall,

Glenallen Hill once landed on the DL by cutting himself on glass while running away from a spider. He was deathly afraid of spiders. Now we know why…they eat baseball players.
