The Marlins are in sweep avoidance mode today.  I would follow that sentence with a descriptor but the only ones I can think of are ones I promised myself I would never write on the front page of the blog.

Let's win one for a change.

Hendrickson main problem recently is that his giving up home runs left and right.  In his last five starts he has allowed nine home runs.  The good news is that over his career he has pretty good numbers at Coors Field with a lifetime record of 2-1 with a 3.00 ERA.

Cook is the ace of the Rockies staff.  He is a sinker ball pitcher and a very good one at that.  I looked at his stats and it doesn't look good for the Fish, but you know, everyone has an off-day every now and then.

Note:  After the game the Marlins are expected to send Ryan Tucker down and recall Josh Johnson.

Ichthyomancy is ready to leave Colorado and would like to do so with a win.  Best of Luck to You!

I really need to pay more attention

to who is starting as the lineups get posted before the game… does my pick automatically switch to amezaga since he took his place? haha

Yes, unless Andino makes an appearance...

like if Robert pinch hits. As long as Andino stays on the bench, Alfredo is your man.

The sad thing is...

we may extend the lead but I don’t think it will increase the confidence.
