2008 - Rich Harden 0-1 2 2 0 0 0 0 12.1 6 1 1 1 5 20 0.73 .89

The Marlins are going for the series lead today.

Volstad will be making his third major league start.  Chris pitched well his last time out but received absolutely no help from the bats.  Hopefully this time around, he will get a little help from his friends.

Harden, didn't we just face him when we played Oakland in an interleague series?  Yes, I know about the trade.  In all honesty we didn't do much against Harden but Danny did take him deep.  Harden has been a strikeout master of late registering 10+ Ks in three of his last five starts.  He normally is more human when pitching during the day.

Ichthyomancy continues to hate day games, but we are visiting in Chicago, so whatcha going do.  Best of Luck to You!

I'm confused about the stadium article....

Is the guy saying he and his partners will build the marlins the stadium, with their own money, and then trade the land/stadium with the county straight up for the orange bowl land? I think the county would be dumb not to do that…

Frig-a-dig-dig

I accidentally posted my picks in yesterday’s thread. I just realized it now. :(

Do not think that what is hard for you to master is humanly impossible; but if a thing is humanly possible, consider it to be within your reach.

That catch was ridiculous...

... right over by the Bartman seat. Even more ridiculous was the butt slap on Samardja. Way to go Amezaga.

Awesome!!

It’ always special when we win with great pitching and good defense instead of just mashing 5 homers. Volstad = awesome! Gregg = back in form! Hermida = remembered how to hit!

Boy...

the Cubs fans must be sick of the Marlins after 2003 and now with Milwaukee streaking.

great game

overall awesome game, great pitching by Volstad and the Bullpen, and some timely hitting, but we need to get some bats rolling again
